Beijing Union University
library is a system of libraries which are comprised of 11 libraries.It
has a scale of 20300 square meters in size and has a total collection
of 2,086,000 volumes, of which periodicals and papers amounts to 3696
items.There are 40 reading rooms and 3000 seats offered for the readers
in the building.

1.The library of The
Headquarters of Beijing Union University
The new library,founded in August 1999,covers
a floorage of 8,019 square meters ang houses a collection of
701,400 books.The library has 2 branches,one of which is in
College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering the other in
Langfang University Center.As a comprehensive library ,the collection
of books mainly covers areas as diverse as computer science,
information science and system, mechanics, management, tourism,
economics etc. |

2.The library of the
College of Arts and Science
The new library,founded in 1988,covers
a floorage of4,344 square meters and houses a collection of
515,300 books.Among the holdins,there are 494,200 volumes in
Chinese and 21,100 volumes in foriegn languages. |
3.The library of Teacher's College
The library was originally founded in 1978 and moved to this
place in 2001.Its library has a construction area of 1600 square
meters and houses a collection of 150,000 volumes.
4.The library of The College of Biochemical Engineering
The library,founded in 1978,covers a floorage of 2000 square
meters and houses a collection of 190,000 volumes in Chinese
and languages.The library's collection covers materials for
computer science, biology engineering,accounting,finance management
and so on.
5.The library,of The College of Business
The library,founded in 1979,houses a collection of 70,000
volumes.
6.The library of The College of Special Education
The library,founded in 1978,covers a floorage of 600 square
meters and houses a collection of 70,000 volumes in Chinese,and
600 volumes in foreign languages.
