| ¡¡¡¡In recent years, taking higher vocational education as an important development direction, BUU offers the largest variety of higher vocational learning courses and specialties under key subject construction scheme granted by Ministry of Education. The university attaches more importance to higher vocational education research by establishing a research institute in this field, and harvests substantial achievements on exploration of its practice, theory, and experimental base construction etc. Meanwhile, it actively involves in cooperation and exchange programs with its foreign counterparts in higher vocational education and BUU now in its influential position home and abroad. In 2004, the National Higher Vocational & Technical Education Institution Learning Specialty Catalogue which BUU¡¯s experts honorably worked on was released, which indicates BUU¡¯s historic contribution to the in-depth development of our higher vocational education. At the same time, China¡¯s first research institution in this field was founded, namely ¡°BUU Higher Vocational Education Course Research, Development and Promotion Center¡±. |
